‘cabbage rose’ embroidered dressweight canvas – licorice on natural

From a Dutch manufacturer specializing in high-quality sustainable fabrics, this is a very unique, intricately embroidered viscose/linen blend. The base fabric is a lighter and drapier rendition of your typical raw canvas and the colors are tan, licorice (blue-leaning nearly black) and natural. It has a fresh, organic look and the embroidery adds some firmness to the drape. It is opaque, with subtle mottling throughout the base fabric and no stretch. The phenomenal “cabbage rose” design has a vertical repeat of about 6.375″ and includes a border along each selvage with no embroidery measuring about 4″. This fabric is Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes. Make an amazing jacket, shirt, skirt, dress, etc. Also great for sewing bags and home decor. Imagine a bedspread and pillow shams! Machine was cool and lay flat or hang to dry. Do not bleach and iron on low.
