The base fabric has yarn dyed, mini vertical stripes in black and white, embroidered with a mix of elastic and non-elastic embroidery floss that creates a floral pattern and intermittent puckers for a distinctive texture. The taffeta-like fabric is lightweight yet opaque, with some crispness in the drape. The mix of black and white can pass for cool medium gray from a distance.
