From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a classic, 100% wool cable sweater knit. A medium weight knit, this fabric has a slightly open stitch making it semi-opaque and cozy but not at all dense feeling. The cable pattern runs vertically with a 1.75″ repeat and provides wonderful texture. The yarns have a subtle variation of lighter and darker shades of gray which further emphasize the textured design. The overall color impression is a neutral, medium gray. Perfect for tops, tunics, sweaters, a cardigan, sweater dress, comfy and elegant separates, scarf, hat, etc. Hand or machine wash gentle and lay flat to dry, but always test first.
