KIT: Love Letters BOM Quilt Kit featuring Love Letters by Dawn Heese for Marcus Fabrics (83″ x 83″)

Dawns design inspiration began at a flea market in France,…where I discovered a small bundle of letters written by soldiers during the war. I knew I had to bring their stories to life through fabric. Digging into my collection of antique French textiles, I found a paisley print with heart-shaped motifs that seemed destined for this project. From there, the idea of Love Letters was born.

TheLove Letters BOM program is designed to be approachable for beginners yet engaging for seasoned quilters. The quilt features blocks in a variety of sizes for interest, ranging from 6″, 9″ and 12″, with a 16 center block. The corners and outer blocks are heart-shaped, echoing the central theme of love and connection. The scalloped border includes instruction for a no-bias edge method that even a beginner can complete.

OPTION 1: TOP ONLY – This kit includes the BOM pattern and all the fabric to complete your 83″ x 83″ quilt top and binding. Backing and batting NOT included.

OPTION 2: TOP + BACK – This kit includes the BOM pattern, all the fabric for your quilt top/binding AND 2.75 yards of 108″ fabric for backing to complete your 83″ x 83″ quilt (see image for wideback fabric). Batting NOT included.
