Designed by Cristina De Miranda, the Ships and Violins Mastermind, Alentejana is a beautiful, densely patterned and impressive quilt. Inspired by a Portuguese wool blanket know as “manta alentejana”, it uses traditional piecing methods and is recommended for intermediate quilters.

NOTE – the pattern provides instruction for 4 different sizes, our quilt kitmakes a throw size52 1/2″ x 67″ finished.

Details

Packaged in a handy gift box, the kit includes the pattern and all of the fabric you will need for the quilt top and bindingin the colours your see in our sample, the fabric is either Free Spirit Solids or Colorworks Solids.

You will add the backing of your choice and batting to finish the quilt.
